Privacy policy.

Elk Ridge Modular ("we", "us") builds modular homes, cabins and saunas in Coldstream, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through elkridgemodular.com, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's PIPEDA.

What we collect

• When you request a quote or contact us: your name, email, phone number, city or town, province or state, the models you're interested in and anything you tell us about your project.
• When you call, text or email us: your contact details and what we discuss.
• When you browse the site: pages viewed, how you got here (for example an ad or search), your device and browser type and general location (city level). This comes from cookies and similar tools described below.

How we use it

• To prepare your quote, answer your questions and follow up about your project.
• To send you information you've asked for. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
• To understand which pages and homes people find useful, so we can improve the site.
• To measure and improve our advertising, including showing our ads to people who have visited the site.

We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:

• Our customer records system, where quote requests are stored and managed by our team.
• ActiveCampaign, for sending email.
• PostHog, for site analytics, including recordings of how pages are used (typing in forms is hidden).
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, for advertising measurement. When you request a quote, we may send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your contact details so it can tell us which ads led to a request.
• Trusted partners on a project you ask us about, such as Placemark (resort projects) or Land First Development (land and home packages), and trades or transport companies working on your build.

Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies from PostHog, Meta and Google to measure site use and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Google account settings. The site works without them.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while we're working with you and for as long as needed afterwards for warranty, legal and accounting purposes. Quote requests that don't go ahead are kept so we can follow up and are deleted on request.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to how we use it, by contacting us below. We'll respond within 30 days.
